Sponsors Mode turns sponsorship activity and user-approved correspondence into private commercial intelligence. We collect only what is needed for visible product features, keep private evidence tenant-scoped, and do not sell Google user data.
1. Information you provide
We process account and workspace details, inventory, sponsor records, proposals, invoices, payment evidence, campaign outcomes, approvals, and support communications that you choose to provide or create in Sponsors Mode.
2. Google Workspace and Gmail data
Connecting Gmail is optional and uses Google OAuth. The historical sponsor-import flow requests read-only Gmail access. A separate Gmail send permission is requested only if you later enable an approved outreach workflow.
Metadata preview
For the date range and Gmail query you select, Sponsors Mode fetches thread identifiers, labels, message counts, sender, subject, date, and Gmail-provided snippets to identify likely sponsorship conversations. Full bodies and attachments are not fetched during preview.
Approved-thread import
We fetch full message content and eligible attachments only after an authorized workspace user approves the specific candidate thread. Imported evidence may be used to create the private sponsor timeline, commercial facts, campaign records, and reactivation recommendations shown inside that workspace.
Attachments
Approved attachments are size-bounded and scanned before processing. Supported safe files are encrypted; active or suspicious content is rejected and not retained as a downloadable blob.
Sending
Read-only import permission cannot send email. If you separately authorize Gmail send access, Sponsors Mode still requires an exact recipient, an approved content version, and human approval before an outreach message may be sent.
3. How we use information
- Provide the sponsor import, timeline, reactivation, campaign, invoicing, payment, reporting, and renewal features you request.
- Secure, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve those user-facing features.
- Prevent abuse, enforce tenant access, and satisfy legal obligations.
We do not use private Gmail content for advertising, sell it, or make it available in a public sponsor database. External benchmarks require separate contributor consent, redaction, and cohort safeguards.
4. Google API Limited Use
Sponsors Mode's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used only to provide or improve prominent user-facing features described here.
Humans do not read Google user data except with the user's explicit consent for specific support, when necessary for security, or when required by law. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI models.
5. Storage and security
Private message content, OAuth tokens, and supported attachment payloads are encrypted at rest. Tenant authorization is enforced on private data and downloads. Evidence retains hashes, provenance, confidence, review state, and audit receipts so estimates cannot masquerade as verified transactions.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. We restrict access, minimize collection, fail closed when required configuration is missing, and investigate suspected unauthorized access.
6. Sharing and subprocessors
We may use infrastructure and service providers only as needed to operate Sponsors Mode, under confidentiality and security obligations. We do not permit providers to use private Google user data for their own advertising or generalized model training. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and the service.
7. Retention, disconnection, and deletion
You can reject candidate threads without allowing full-content access. You can delete an import from Import Review; this removes its private content and derived facts while retaining a minimal non-sensitive audit receipt. You may also revoke Sponsors Mode from your Google Account permissions at any time.
To request workspace or account deletion, email [email protected]. We may retain limited records when required for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or financial reconciliation.
8. Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, subject to applicable law and necessary identity verification. Workspace administrators control organizational data and permissions.
9. Changes and contact
We will update this page when our practices materially change and request renewed consent when required. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected].
